Meet the team

Michelle qualified as a Physiotherapist more than 10 years ago and has been working clinically in the musculoskeletal speciality and in management within Buckinghamshire during this time. In 2011 Michelle moved solely into management and is now responsible for the overall running of the Practice Plus Group MSK and Diagnostics services.

Katie has worked at the Diagnostic Centre since 2006. She began working in the Diagnostics Admin team where she became Admin Lead, before progressing to the role of Operational Lead for Diagnostics and MSK.

Montse qualified as a BSc Tech in Digital Animation Engineering with a PGDip in Project Management.

Joining Practice Plus Group in 2018, initially as an MSK Administrator, she progressed to become Deputy Admin Lead for the Diagnostics Department, and subsequently becoming Administration Lead for the Diagnostics Service.

Kerry qualified as a radiographer from Kingston University in 2001 and then continued her training at Kings College London and gained her Pg Dip in Diagnostic Ultrasound in 2003. After working extensively in the NHS Kerry joined PPG in 2013.  Kerry continued to develop her breadth of skills and completed her PgCert in MSK ultrasound in 2020.  Kerry performs a wide range of scans including Gynae, Abdominal and MSK ultrasound.

Jenny qualified as a diagnostic radiographer 40 years ago and has been involved with MRI services for 35 years. Jenny has worked across the independent healthcare sector for several leading MRI providers with roles encompassing patient facing scanning, site management and then moving on to operational lead positions for multiple MRI sites. She re-joined Practice Plus Group in 2018 as the MRI Lead Radiographer having formerly worked for the company for a brief period in 2010.

Angie specialises in general, vascular, gynaecological and musculoskeletal ultrasound. Angie was trained in Diagnostic Medical Sonography in Colorado, USA in 2004 where she worked as the Ultrasound Supervisor until moving back to the UK in 2015. She started working with PPG on a temporary basis in 2016, and then joined the team permanently in 2020. Angie has interests in research and new sonographic techniques, with a focus on patient experience.

Sharad qualified as a radiographer over 30 years ago and has worked across a range of radiology departments in India and the UK. Sharad’s experience has been specifically in MRI for the last 15 years and he been instrumental in training radiographers new to MRI at Practice Plus Group. His previous roles have included radiation protection supervisor and infection control lead, along with overseeing day-to-day MRI scanning. Sharad is now an MRI reporting radiographer.

Claire has worked in Australia, learnt to report CT Colonography scans in London, worked in a busy cardiac catheter lab and now works at Practice Plus Group Diagnostics, Buckinghamshire.

Sam trained as a diagnostic radiographer in Lagos, Nigeria in 1980. Sam worked briefly with Ogun State Ministry of Health at Ijebu-Ode General Hospital as a basic radiographer and then obtained Federal Government of Nigeria Scholarship to train as a Medical Physicist. Sam was trained both in the University of Surrey, England and the University of St Andrews in Scotland in Medical Physics after successful completion of a Masters degree program in Radiation Biophysics in 1985. They attended College on Medical Physics Applications in Trieste, Italy at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in 1988 and 1996. Sam was a fellow of the International Atomic Energy Agency at Medical Physics Department. Sam became an Assistant Lecturer in the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan – the first in Nigeria and became the first Head of Radiology in Gizan College of Health Sciences. Sam successfully managed the training of Saudi radiographers and left after eight years of meritorious service in 2005. Sam was one of the first generation of St Mary’s Urgent Treatment Centre in Portsmouth when it started operation in 2005 carrying out plain X-ray examinations, then transferred to Buckinghamshire Diagnostic Centre in January 2018 and is now trained to conduct both MRI scans and X-rays and now holds a senior radiographer position within the service.

Helen qualified in 1993, and has worked in a variety of imaging departments over the years including, busy NHS hospitals with A&E, small specialised units and in the private sector.

Helen has further qualifications in Nuclear Medicine, teaching and training. For most of her career she has worked with student radiographers both in the clinical setting and at various universities.

In the past Helen has been an Accredited Practice Educator putting together study days and training for Qualified Radiographers. She still attends careers fairs and schools to promote Radiography to the next generation.

Helen has worked at Practice Plus Group Diagnostics, Buckinghamshire (in X-ray and MRI) since 2014, and enjoys working with the friendly team and generally having a little more time to interact with patients. In addition to clinical work she delivers radiation protection training both in-house and externally to a variety of healthcare professionals.

Pradip Neupane has always been passionate about radiography, and the enormous complexity of it has always fascinated him. All of this began when he enrolled in the University of Hertfordshire’s BSc (Hons) in Radiography programme and qualified as a radiographer. This was followed by a trainee programme at InHealth Group Limited, where he trained to become an MRI radiographer.

Apart from holding a BSc (Hons) in Radiography and a master’s degree in business (MBA), he also has a Bachelor’s in Commerce degree and has a good command of 5 languages. He has been with PPG since March 2022.

Through this work, he has been exposed to an environment specifically designated to meet the care needs of patients. He feels that, as radiography is often an outside gaze into the care world, this knowledge of direct patient care is often forgotten. Thus, his knowledge of this area of the healthcare delivery pathway not only makes him more rounded and knowledgeable regarding patient care needs but has also allowed him to become more of a collaborative member of the multidisciplinary team.
